September 12 2014 – This evening…
Striking selfie, my friend – its good to see you, even if you look out at me uncertainly …
Many thanks, my friend!
I say: Intriguing shot; as if you managed to take a photo of ‘the child inside’ you… (not looking all that comfortable into the big world). Amazing photo.
I agree with Harrie: you look beautiful and also vulnerable.
Thanks Ash! x
I say: Thank you, Harrie for your kind comment.
The little girl within – or the uncertain transformation into an adult in an adult world. Beautifully executed composition. :)
Thank you! Much appreciated. :)
…you will never loose those eyes… (…smiling…)
I guess I’ll have them until the day I die. :) Thank you, my friend. Smiling back at you.
Definitely the child form, clever.
I had natural light from the window and a lamp from above the head of the bed.
Light is always the special ingredient, but the crop and clothing add to the illusion.
Yes, I understand. I like this dress a lot. :)

Timeless portraits with tendrils that reach far back into photography’s history: both this one and its sister image.
Thank you so much, John!
Haunting (in a nice way)
Thank you very much, Andrew!
